Resilient Fairfax Public Comment
Resilient Fairfax Public Comment
Resilient Fairfax aims to reduce climate-related risks to county services, residents, businesses, and infrastructure. Fairfax County is already feeling the effects of climate change, such as increased temperatures, more severe storms, and increased flooding. Responding to individual severe weather events can cost the county millions of dollars. The Resilient Fairfax Climate Adaptation and Resilience Plan aims to help the county become more resilient to a changing climate.
Between May 16 and June 15, 2022, county residents are invited to submit comments on the draft Resilient Fairfax: Climate Adaptation and Resilience Plan using an online tool called Konveio. This tool makes commenting easier, by allowing users to make comments directly on the plan PDF.
