Cavalier Club Plan Amendment Survey
Share your thoughts on potential land use changes to the Cavalier Club site!
Fairfax County is considering land use changes to the Comprehensive Plan for a property located at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and McKinley Road in the Seven Corners Community Business Center (CBC). The current property includes 220 residential units in the Cavalier Club apartment building, and the proposed changes would add:
- the potential for an additional 250 residential units for a total of 470 residential units, and
- the potential for an additional 5,000 square feet of retail for a total of 7,600 square feet of retail.
We want to hear from you. This survey is the community’s opportunity to share thoughts about proposed changes to the Cavalier Club property and about the Seven Corners area. Your feedback will help Fairfax County shape future land use plans for the Cavalier Club Plan amendment study. The survey closes on Friday, August 15.

BACKGROUND
Consideration of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment for 6200 Wilson Boulevard, in the Mason Supervisor District, was authorized by the Board of Supervisors on April 11, 2023. The site is planned within Land Unit E of the Seven Corners CBC and is next to the municipal boundaries of Arlington County to the north and east, and the City of Falls Church to the west.
The planned density in the Comprehensive Plan is 16-20 residential units per acre (du/ac). The site is currently developed with 220 multifamily residential units and 2,600 square feet of retail on 5.64 acres. The proposal would increase residential density to 20+ du/ac. The Comprehensive Plan for Seven Corners is available online. Below is a map of the subject property and adjacent area for reference.
