Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) invites residents and commuters to provide feedback on the updated draft of the Active Transportation and Trails Plan (ATTP) – a unified document that merges the Fairfax County Bicycle Master Plan and the Countywide Trails Plan. The ATTP aims to build a safer, comfortable, and convenient network for people walking, biking, and using other forms of active transportation.
Item I: Active Transportation and Trails Plan Map
Item II: Proposed Plan Text for the Active Transportation and Trails Plan
Item III: Active Transportation and Trails Plan Quick Guide
Item IV: ActiveFairfax Active Transportation Toolkit
The updated draft reflects public and stakeholder input gathered by the ActiveFairfax Transportation Plan project throughout 2024. Additional revisions are expected as the plan moves through the Comprehensive Plan amendment process.
Please share your needs, priorities, and experiences on the ATTP to help create a more inclusive, accessible, and effective transportation network for all users by filling out the survey below.
To report a gap in current infrastructure, fill out the Report a Sidewalk or Trail Gap form.
