Gum Springs Heritage Resources Study
Gum Springs Heritage Resources Study
Fairfax County is conducting a Heritage Resources Study for the Gum Springs Community to recognize the history of Gum Springs and identify resources with historical, cultural, architectural, or archaeological significance within the area. The study includes research into historic documents and existing oral histories, an architectural survey, and new interviews with the community. The study results will be used to determine potential next steps the community can take to help preserve its history.
We encourage all community members to submit their thoughts, stories, comments or concerns. Additionally, you can sign-up for e-mail updates about the study or submit a story about Gum Springs by calling 703-890-5989, code: 7346.
For the latest details on the study, visit the project webpage. Thank you for taking time out of your day to help preserve Gum Springs' history!
All are welcome to submit historical documents to be used in the study. Please email submissions to Admin@commonwealthpreservationgroup.com by October 30th for further information.
