On Feb. 20, Fairfax County Executive Bryan Hill presented his advertised (proposed) budget to the Board of Supervisors. You can learn more about the proposed budget. The advertised budget is now open for feedback through the question below, as well as upcoming town hall meetings in March and public hearings before the Board of Supervisors in April. The Board of Supervisors will adopt a final budget on May 7.  The budget takes effect July 1, 2024.
