One Fairfax Community Roundtable
The purpose of the One Fairfax Community Roundtable (Roundtable) is to community leverage members’ insights, experiences, and understanding of the drivers of inequity in Fairfax County to monitor, inform, and support the county’s efforts to advance racial and social equity in alignment with the Countywide Strategic Plan and the county’s One Fairfax Racial and Social Equity Policy.
The Roundtable was established in 2024 based on a recommendation from the Chairman’s Task Force on Equity and Opportunity to “Establish a Community Advisory Board, with representation by Black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and low-income individuals, to monitor the degree to which each county agency has prioritized the needs of BIPOC and lower income communities.” This recommendation was subsequently included in the Countywide Strategic Plan.
The Roundtable, established in April 2024, consists of 19 members based on recommendations from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to the County’s Chief Equity Officer. The 2024-2026 Roundtable membership consists of individuals representative of Black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and low-income communities, women, people living with disabilities, individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, and other underrepresented groups.
The inaugural kick-off and administrative Roundtable meetings for the Roundtable were held on April 24th, 2024, and June 4th, 2024.

Meeting Schedule
Except for holidays, general body meetings are scheduled on the First Tuesdays of the month on a quarterly basis, or as needed. Meeting agenda, materials, and link for virtual participation are posted closer to each meeting date.

One Fairfax Community Roundtable Meeting
Community members can sign-up to provide verbal statements during public comment period of non-administrative general body meetings of The One Fairfax Community Roundtable. The public comment period during meetings will be no longer than 15-minutes total, with three (3) minutes per speaker. As necessary, the Roundtable may designate special meetings for Public Comment only.
Community members can also submit written public comments to the Roundtable, at anytime, by email at onefairfaxroundtable@publicinput.com.
