Welcome to the Fairfax County Park Authority Needs Assessment Public Opinion Survey!

The Fairfax County Park Authority wants to hear from you! Since the last update to the Fairfax County Park Authority’s, Needs Assessment, completed in 2016, Fairfax County has experienced substantial countywide and global events that have impacted our community, including a global pandemic, economic recession, and growth in development which has resulted in an expanding and more diverse population. These events have caused a need for a reevaluation of how needs and priorities for parks, recreation amenities, trails, and open space have changed and what actions the Park Authority should take in future land acquisition, facility development and capital improvements, and programming. 

We greatly appreciate your time. This survey is voluntary and will take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete. Your responses will be invaluable for the Park Authority to learn about our community’s preferences, usage, and needs and priorities for parks, recreation, and trails. The survey will be open until June 15.
