Tysons Office Designated Areas Planning Study
Fairfax County is reviewing its long-range land use plan for office designated areas in Tysons. All who visit, live, or work in Tysons are encouraged to take this survey and help shape how these areas develop.
This survey will take approximately 5 to10 minutes and will close on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Background
On June 10, 2025, the Board of Supervisors authorized a planning study for the Tysons Office Land Use Category in the Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan guides the county’s land use and development decisions. The study will focus on:
A holistic review of the plan for the office designated areas, shown in the map below in pink, generally along the edges of Tysons, and
Consideration of new recommendations for future land use changes and improvements.
